Understanding rooms

Rooms are in the middle of Suyt's hierarchy. Every task within your space resides in a room, providing a central hub for organized work.

Set up rooms

Suyt's rooms offer flexible organization for any type of work. Here are some examples:

  • Digital Agencies: Create a suite for each client, with rooms detailing specific services like "Inbound Marketing" or "SEO."

  • Content Creators: Use suites for big-picture initiatives (e.g., "Monthly Newsletter") and rooms for focused work (e.g., "Blog Posts" within "Monthly Newsletter").

Create a room

To create a new room:

  1. Navigate to suite level.

  2. In the tab bar at the right, click + Room.

  3. Name your room and press Enter.

Edit a room

You can manage your Rooms from the ellipsis ... menu in the Suite page (in every room frame.)

To edit an existing Room:

  1. Click the Edit icon (next to Room name)

  2. Choose from the following Room settings:

    • Open in new tab: Open room page in new tab for more details.

    • Rename: Rename the Room.

    • Add to Pins: Pin the Room to your Sidebar.

    • Archive: Archive the Room. (Coming soon)

    • Delete: Delete the Room.

Find rooms in your space

Rooms display in different locations depending on where you are in your Space.

Sidebar

All of your suites and rooms are located in your sidebar.

Tasks list view (suite & space)

In Tasks list view, tasks are automatically separated by Room.
